TruDisk laser is a brilliant combination of a solid-state laser and a semiconductor laser. The semiconductor laser provides a high degree of pumping efficiency and the solid-state laser, as a disk laser, provides the high beam quality. The result is the optimized combination of high laser power plus excellent beam quality, which is kept constant across the entire power range. This new technology will allow SWS-Trimac to laser weld & laser cut most alloys including Aluminum, Copper, Hastalloy, and Stainless/Carbons Steels just to name a few and is perfectly suited for welding thicknesses ranging from foil to over 8mm deep depending upon alloy.
